Power Skating and Skills
The Mid-Missouri Tigers Hockey Club holds Power Skating and Skills clinics each summer to promote the development of strong skating skills in a fun and positive environment. Veteran Tiger players as well as players new to the club are encouraged to attend.
Ages
Interested players of all age groups are eligible to attend.
6U, 8U and 10U will skate on Mondays from 6:15pm to 7:15pm and Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
12U, 14U, and 18U will skate on Mondays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm and Wednesdays from 8:15pm to 9:15pm.
When
This summer program will begin on July 7, 2025 and end on July 30, 2025.
EQUIPMENT
Full equipment is required. Jerseys are not provided.
REQUIREMENTS
For the benefit of all players attending, registrants MUST have already developed the skills of forward skating, backward skating, and stopping with both feet. If you are unsure if your player has met these requirements, please ask their coach before the registration opens.
WHEN TO SIGN UP
Registration for this program will open at noon on June 10. Please note that to ensure all players are learning and receiving adequate coaching attention, the registration will be capped at 25 skaters per session (25 skaters for the 6U/8U/10U session and 25 skaters for the 12U/14U/18U/HS session). The registration will be First Come, First Serve based. Registration is limited to current Mid-MO Tigers players or players planning to register for the Mid-MO Tigers 2025-26 season.
Powe Skating and Skills
The Mid-Missouri Tigers Hockey Club will hold twice weekly Power Skating and Skills clinics on Monday and Wednesdays during the month of July, beginning July 7. (Sessions on July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 and 30)
6U, 8U, and 10U will skate on Mondays from 6:15 to 7:15pm and Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
12U, 14U, and 18U/high school will skate on Mondays from 7:30 to 8:30pm and Wednesdays from 8:15pm to 9:15pm.
The fee for the eight sessions will be $125 per player.
A USA Hockey number from either the 2024-25 season or the upcoming 2025-26 season will also be required and can be obtained at https://membership.usahockey.com/.
These sessions will primarily focus on skating, with minimal use of pucks.
